  This takes me back to my old Yugo days. Dr. Eric Gordy has launched a new project, dealing with Balkan and Washington affairs. His coverage of overseas issues is more than timely; in fact, so good it seems it could be based on personal first-hand sights and sounds of Southeastern Europe (though he tells me he’s right at home, at least until summer). Eric is also the author of The Culture of Power in Serbia. It’s not only worth reading; it’s one of the very best recent books on the subject.
